During our weekend service times, we provide care for children and adults with special needs through our special needs classroom, known as the Miracle’s Diner. We also support children and adults with special needs in an age-appropriate classroom/worship environment with the right level of assistance through our buddy ministry.

The Village is the special needs ministry of Chapel Springs Church. During weekend service times, we provide access to the ministry for individuals of all ages. Our goal is to support children with special needs or disability up to grade 6 and youth from grade 7 to 12, in age-appropriate classrooms with assistance (buddies) or other accommodations whenever possible. We also provide a sensory room to be used by children and their families or buddies, whenever cool-downs or sensory breaks are necessary.

For adults with special needs or disability, we provide a safe and accessible sensory room to view weekend services with family or village buddies.

Spotswood's Special Needs Ministry is all about Matthew 19: 14 Jesus said, " Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." During class time children will be able to hear Bible bases lessons taught by trained volunteers. After story time children will be able to participate in fun activities that support the Bible lesson. Ages are from 7-12 and class hour is at 11:00 am on Sundays. if your child is older then 12; we can connect you with our Middle school, High school or Young Adult class leaders.
